This morning I went to a nearby ATM. I took my baby boy along. So I held him while I was standing in line. In the queue, I overheard two girls behind me were having conversation.” You know what, if a baby is cute usually he will grow up not so cute. And vice versa, if the baby is not so cute as a baby, you don’t have to worry, he will become a good looking grown-up,” said the first girl to the other. The other girl only nodded slightly.
I did not remember what brought them into this topic. What I knew was that I held my son facing about the girls. I then wondered what would I say if one of the girls had come to me and said, “Hey, your baby is cute!” As that would mean that she’d said, “Your son is going to be ugly soon.” Or, if she said that my son will be a handsome boy later. That would mean, “Hey, your baby is ugly!” Isn't it?

Don't listen to them, it just similar with an overheard like "usually handsome men marry ugly women, and vice versa" :)

Hwahahaha aduh lucu banget. Mestinya lu langsung balik badan and sez, "Owwww...you gals must be so cute as a baby..."
You should coyly confront them and said,"You girls must be veeery cute as babies...". All said with a little twinkle in your eyes, no?
